Becky and Kevin's Wedding

I'm verrryyyy far behind on blog posts.  I just had an amazing weekend with some seriously amazing people.  More to come on that soon.

First things first...

A few weekends ago I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in my dear friend's wedding.  We went to high school together, but didn't really get to know each other until we worked at Camp Willow Run.  We've been great friends ever since.  Becky is one of the most joyful, faithful, and fun-loving ladies I know.  Thanks for including me in your special day, Becky.  I had such a great time watching you and Kevin tie the knot.  Ya'll could NOT have looked more happy or in love!  It was very sweet.

My awesome friend Lane was also a bridesmaid in this wedding and we had so much fun hanging out together.  Sadly, Curt couldn't make it back to Richmond for the wedding, but Lane and her boyfriend were gracious enough to let me hang around with them aaalllll weekend.  Thanks guys!!

Virginia visitors!

Hi friends!  We were recently visited by our friends Blaine and Dorathy and the Kenney Family minus Grace and Andrew.  From a lobster dinner, to historical Boston foot tours, to a Red Sox game, to whale watching, we made some great memories together.

I'll leave the captions to Catherine...

Also, we want to give a big thanks to Susan for providing most of the pictures.  We really appreciate her capturing all the special moments.

Get ready for a boatload of pictures...
Dinner at "The Farm" for everyone's first night in town.  Sorry for the cell phone pics!

true story.

We watched this movie tonight:

Yes, this was my pick on the netflix queue....but Curt was a good husband and watched it with me.  Yes, we were a little freaked out by the psycho teenage girls.  BUT I'm a little embarrassed to say that I liked it.  But not that embarrassed.

One part I particularly liked was when his manager would go out into the nosebleed section or out into a crowd of people and give them front row seats.  The people got SO happy.  It was sweet.  One scene showed a dad with his daughters getting tickets for the 4th row.  I turned to Curt and said, "Would you take your daughters to a Justin Bieber concert?"  He said, "Yeah....no....I would leave them at home and go by myself."

He's a true fan ladies and gentlemen.

Mary Ellen's Baptism

Whew!  We've got a lot of catching up to do...

After we got back from the beach, we were fortunate enough to be able to attend Mary Ellen's baptism before we flew back to Boston.  It was really special because they asked Curt to be her Godfather.  We're excited to see what the Lord has in store for this sweet little girl!
